a) Santos, Richard. "Tax break?" The New Republic. 12 July. 1998: 24-40

d) Prepare in text citation for: Wang, P. (1999, July) Fund Watch. Money, PP.49-54.

## Answer

#### a) MLA to APA

#### b) Into MLA

#### d) In-text citation of Wang, P. (1999, July). Fund watch. *Money*, 49–54.
- **APA:** (Wang, 1999), or with pages, (Wang, 1999, pp. 49–54). Narrative form: Wang (1999) states that ...
- **MLA:** (Wang 49–54).

**Notes:** In APA the date follows the author, the article title has no quotation marks and is in sentence case, and the periodical name is italicised. In MLA the article title is in quotation marks and title case, the date follows the periodical name, and pages are shown with "pp.". Item (b) is treated as a journal article, because "Studies in American Obfuscation" is the container; the volume and issue numbers should be added if known.
