MINUTES OF THE FIRST MEETING OF THE NEWLY FORMED COMMITTEE

Venue: Society office, Lakeside, Pokhara

Present:

Agenda 1: Introduction and welcome
  Discussion: Members introduced themselves.
  Decision  : The Chairperson welcomed everyone and stated
  the aims.

Agenda 2: Distribution of responsibilities
  Discussion: Duties were discussed.
  Decision  : Roles were assigned: Treasurer for accounts,
  Dr. Adhikari for medical camps, and Ms. Pun for
  outreach.

Agenda 3: Annual programme
  Discussion: Health camps, awareness and first-aid
  training were proposed.
  Decision  : Four free health camps and a first-aid
  training for 100 volunteers to be held this year.

Agenda 4: Fund and budget
  Discussion: Sources were discussed.
  Decision  : Donations, membership fee and local
  government support; a budget of Rs. 5 lakhs approved.

Agenda 5: Meeting schedule
  Discussion: Frequency was discussed.
  Decision  : The committee will meet on the first Sunday
  of every month.

The meeting ended at 1:00 p.m. with a vote of thanks.
